L.C.O The organization of companies
Data sets of a step :
I must to say you, that I prefer this type of representation, it seems to me more clear and organized, but it is a matter of taste (tastes and colors .......!)
As in a step, there are three well defined Sub-Sets:
- The thirds
- Products exchanged
And the Exchanges,
So let's use the hierarchical subdivision :
At the point where we arrived, we saw how to define the flow of orders and deliveries, and from there, how to define the steps, the sets of each step and their relationships. We have established a set of management rules that allow for rigorous clarification of the missions and responsibilities of each section in its relations with others. We have also specified the relations between the elements of the different sets defined during the study of each step.
We have, step by step, completed the study of all the "primary data" related to the production flow of the main activity of the company.
We will of course have to study the organization of the data of all the steps involved in this flow on the one hand and then go on to study internal production flows and financial flows.
We will not develop here the study of each of these flows, you will find in the book L.C.O everything you will need (comments and exercises)
When the study of the primary data sets "FLP" (Logical Primary Files) of each step has been carried out for main production activity, internal and financial flows, we will still have to merge each step, ie Merge all feeds for each step. We will thus obtain the logical database relating to each step (or client section, plus all external clients).
It remains for us to discover the content of each of the F.L.P and then the organization of the operational data, in other words, define the Logical Operational Files (F.L.O). To do this, well let's go back to L.C.S thanks and enjoy !
