The so-called complex structures :
As soon as at a subdivision level one encounters several elementary structures then it will be a complex structure. Here are the cases that can be encountered:
1) The simple alternative structure has two subsets present (0-1 times) exclusive of each other, ie the presence of one excludes the presence of the other. This notion of exclusion being noted by the sign
Here is an example :
2) The structure n times or n can be equal to zero !
In such a case it is considered that there is a group of subset present 0 or 1 times, and if the group is present it is subdivided because it contains a subset present n times !
Here is the result :
3) The complex alternative structure.
Structure in which we find several simple alternative structures.
Here is an example :
4) Complex and mixed repetitive structures
The sign + indicates in this case the non exclusivity of the sets between them.
Complex repetitive structure
Mixed complex structure
